Bedfordshire, UK – CAT Driver Training, the UK’s leading dynamic driver development provider, is delighted to announce the results of its annual Charity Smiles Pot Smash. This year, the initiative raised £1,260 for The Stars Appeal at Salisbury District Hospital, with funds earmarked to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) life-saving work.
CAT Driver Training fundraising initiatives raise over £3,000 for 3 charities: Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust; Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice and; Mission Motorsport.
Despite the high demand for their unique brand of driver training, the Bedfordshire based business, like many others across the UK, were required to temporarily close their doors for a total four-month period in 2020, due to national COVID-19 lockdown measures. This, however, did not stop them raising a heartening £2,548.79, for two Charities, both in great need of funds.
Motor industry driver training company CAT Driver Training has received recognition for their world first, independent Autonomous Safety Driver and Operator Training course.
Accreditation of the new autonomous safety driver training course, launched in November last year, coincides with the government's recent update to the Code of Practice: Automated Vehicle Trialling.
