Castlegem are glad to announce the upgrade of their Dual CPU dedicated server line to the latest E5 v3 CPUs. The standard setup includes the Dual E5 2620v3 CPUs.
- (1888PressRelease) November 07, 2014 - These offer 6 hyperthreaded cores at a clock speed of 2.4 GHz, with a Turbo speed of 3.2 GHz. Memory is now DDR4, and the QPI speed has also been increased to 8 GT/s. This is a clear step ahead compared to the older v2 version.
The dedicated servers come with 64GB of DDR4 memory along with 4x 500GB Enterprise SATA drives (6gbps WD RE4s). Clients may configure these servers with any preferred disk setup, as well as upgrade memory to 512GB or more upon request. CPUs can be upgraded as well, with 2630v3, 2640v3, 2650v3, 2660v3, 2680v3, and 2690v3 available. Last but not least, Hardware Raid controllers such as the LSI 9271 with FlashCache and redundant power supplies can be added as well.
Despite significant upgrades in performance, we have kept prices the same, and customers can benefit from this new range for as low as GBP 300 per month. Available locations are London, Vienna, and Prague in the EU, and New York City, Chicago, and Fremont in the United States.
