Pennant as Director of Fund Development and External Affairs. Ms. Pennant brings additional fundraising and advocacy talent to the organization with more than 20 years of combined public and private sector leadership experience, having previously served top roles in organizations such as Feeding South Florida and Penzaac Corporation of America.

    Prior to joining Carrfour, Ms. Pennant served as Director of Development and External Affairs at Feeding South Florida, where she successfully managed a diverse multi-million dollar portfolio, an annual campaign to raise public and private funds to support their expansion. She was responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors including individual, corporations, foundations and government. Before joining Feeding South Florida, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Penzaac Corporation of America, where she was responsible for the overall administration and program management of the business consulting firm and successfully solicited millions of dollars in government contracts for several small businesses.

    In addition to her work in government relations, Ms. Pennant is active in several business and civic groups throughout the community, including the National Association of Professional Women and the Diversity & Outreach Advisory Board of Broward County Schools. Additionally, she has been recognized by the National Black Child Development Institute with the 2012 Leadership Award; was named one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward in 2012 by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County; and was named VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women.

    Ms. Pennant holds a Bachelor's degree in public administration and a Master's degree in criminal justice from Florida International University.
