Carmel Valley Kiwanis Foundation, Inc Announces The Carmel Valley Fiesta Carmel Valley Community Park
Save the Date for August 1st and 2nd, 2015.
- Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2015 - Carmel Valley Fiesta features music, food, activities. It doesn't matter what you like to do during the weekend - be it enjoying live music, going for a run, eating good food or just hanging out with the neighbors - it's pretty likely you'll find it at the Carmel Valley Fiesta. The down-home celebration kicks into high gear on Friday evening with the annual Hoopla Barbecue, a scholarship fundraiser, and then continues during daytime hours Saturday and Sunday with the admission-free Fiesta at Carmel Valley Community Park, back for its 26th year.
This year's festival is marked by some particularly fine musical entertainment, beginning with the Hoopla.
The Carmel Valley Fiesta in the Park
Friday, July 31st:
Hoopla BBQ, Full Bar, Silent Auction and Music. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Music by John Michael from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Retrospect from 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Located at the Carmel Valley Trail and Saddle Club located at the located at the East End of Garza Road.
Cost is $30 for the general public and $10 pre-teens

Come and enjoy the warm sun, green grass and blue sky at the Carmel Valley Community Park. Bring the whole family, there will be games, arts & crafts, food booths and the Kiwanis bar.
Saturday features a classic car show and Sunday a doggy show.
At 5pm on Sunday a trip to Hawaii will be raffled off to the lucky $1 ticket purchaser (Do not need to be present to win).
Events will take place on Ford Road and Carmel Valley Road behind Village Green Complex.
Tickets are available for purchase from any Carmel Valley Kiwanian; Chevron, Carmel Valley Business Service or at the door. The event sells out every year!
The Fiesta has allowed the Kiwanis to award close to $250,000 in high school scholarships over the years, helping 252 students come closer to their career goals, said Parkins. Scholarships this year were distributed to 19 graduating seniors from Carmel Valley who attend public and private high schools in the area.
