Ron Hollander, former President and CEO of the Mass. Hospital Association, is the new Executive Director of the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to discover cures for carcinoid cancer, pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer, and related neuroendocrine cancers. CFCF also works to eliminate the suffering of patients, families, and caregivers affected by neuroendocrine cancers.

In celebration of Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day, the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation will host a Patient Education Event in Houston, TX for patients and caregivers facing carcinoid, pancreatic neuroendocrine, and related neuroendocrine cancers. The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation has also awarded Sunflower Grants to patient support groups across the United States.
