Career Step Pharmacy Technician Training Program approved by Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy
The Career Step Pharmacy Technician online training program earns approval from the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy and is being distributed through partners, including Normandale Community College, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.
- Provo-Orem, UT (1888PressRelease) June 26, 2015 - Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, is pleased to announce that its online Pharmacy Technician training program has received approval from the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy and is being distributed through Career Step's regional partners: Normandale Community College, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.

The Career Step Pharmacy Technician training program offers 310 hours of online curriculum to prepare students for the field. It is one of the few online programs approved by the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy. The program also incorporates feedback from employers and prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam upon graduation.
Students in Minnesota interested in Career Step's Pharmacy Technician program are encouraged to enroll through one of Career Step's academic partners. Partners include Normandale Community College, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.

The pharmacy technician career is a rapidly growing healthcare sector. The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics expects the field to generate over 70,000 new jobs by 2022 and reports that these professionals earn average annual salaries of over $31,000.
