The tool uses survey methodology to establish the state of health and safety culture in an organisation and staff attitudes. It provides powerful data that allows benchmarking against other organisations and identifies examples of good practice and areas needing improvement.

"It focuses on understanding the attitudes, values and perceptions of your workforce to help you evaluate how effective your occupational health and safety management is. The 40 statements that make up the body of the survey are underpinned by research that demonstrates that the survey is a reliable and valid psychometric instrument.
"The survey can be tailored towards the organisation, for example by incorporating their company logo and tailoring the terminology. Up to nine demographic questions and an additional six open questions can be added to the survey.
"The tool automatically analyses the data to produce a series of charts and allows detailed filtering. It generates paper and HTML reports."
