Caravan Coffee Steward Completes Barista Training
Caravan Coffee sends Coffee Steward to training at American Barista and Coffee School as part of strategy for empowering clients' success.
- Portland-Vancouver, OR-WA (1888PressRelease) December 29, 2010 - Alexander Rehm, coffee steward for Caravan Coffee, successfully completed 5 days of training with the American Barista & Coffee School (ABC's) earlier this month. The training included a full day of business training and four days in the espresso lab. Training covered a wide range of espresso tasks including the pulling the perfect shot and equipment maintenance. "I wanted Alexander to experience this high quality training so he can coach our clients and assist them in achieving new levels of success," said Pete Miller, proprietor of Caravan.
Alexander joined Caravan in September and is primarily responsible for developing relationships with Caravan's wholesale clients. "I believe in this economic climate it is beneficial to deliver practical advice to our clients on the subject of preparing quality espresso drinks," said Alexander. "My training at ABC's gave me a wealth of knowledge that I can convey to our clients."
