Captain Treloar's Launches 'Rickshaw Challenge' Fundraiser for Treloar's Disabled School
Treloar's Disabled School and College hosts a new fundraising event with the 'Rickshaw Challenge', which takes place on the evening of 22nd September 2011 at Leadenhall Market, London.
- (1888PressRelease) May 27, 2011 - Captain Treloar's made his debut appearance in London for the launch of Treloar's brand new fundraising campaign - the superhero themed 'Rickshaw Challenge'.
Navigating their way along one of three routes through the City, entrants must keep their eyes firmly on the prize; exercising both their brain and brawn, as they attempt to answer clues based on the history of London and its geography as part of a timed treasure hunt. There are just 20 team slots available, each with six members. Team entry for this unique challenge is £900 - just £150 per entrant in a team - plus a minimum commitment of £2,000 team sponsorship.
Captain Treloar's said: "There was a fantastic atmosphere in the City last night and it was great to talk to so many people who were interested in joining the Challenge. I was inspired by their enthusiasm and I'd like to thank my glamorous assistants, Lucy and Zoe, who helped spread the message. I am looking forward to seeing more friendly faces at the Challenge itself, and raising lots of money for disabled young people at Treloar's!"
Treloar's School and College provides education, care and therapy for more than 250 young people with complex disabilities and learning difficulties, from the UK and overseas.
