CANFAR's Young Professionals Imagine a Future Without AIDS at 3rd Annual Fundraiser
Annual fundraising event hosts night of art and technology in support of AIDS research.
- (1888PressRelease) April 17, 2013 - On Saturday, April 27, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR)'s Young Professional Council (YPC) will celebrate the advances of HIV and AIDS research with an evening of art and technology at its third annual fundraiser, Our Future Without AIDS.
The aim of the event is to inspire a new generation of Canadians to paint a brighter future, one without AIDS, and help CANFAR in its mission to realize that future.
The evening will feature a celebration of art and technology, and includes an art auction, a raffle and a special live art experience.
The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research is Canada's only independent charitable foundation dedicated to eliminating AIDS through research. By funding promising Canadian HIV and AIDS research and spreading awareness through education campaigns, CANFAR is working to end AIDS globally. Since 1987, CANFAR has awarded more than $18 million to HIV and AIDS research projects.
