CandyDate Jobs quarterly profit rises 7%

  • (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2011 - CandyDate Jobs first quarter net income rose 7% as the India's biggest human resource consultancy firm with foot prints in the United States and United Kingdom benefited from cost cutting and robust growth in the job market.

    But CandyDate Jobs said that the Indian companies may hire less this year as the input and the labor cost will continue to increase, however, the company targets to add 1500 clients this year.

    CandyDate Jobs on Monday said net income was US $4.09 million, or Rs 18.40 crore. Revenues rose almost 9 percent to US $24.88 million or Rs 111.96 crore from US $22.64 million or Rs 101.88 crore.

    "Our clients, particularly in India are hiring less, however we will concentrate on selling more virtual jobs and internships in India," Rahul Malhotra, CandyDate Jobs CEO, said in a statement.

    CandyDate Jobs will hire over 2 million people for companies in India, United States and United Kingdom. CandyDate Jobs may raise around US $150 million this year to fund some of the planned acquisitions.
