Canada Express Entry 2018 Year End Report Released 2 July 2019
The annual Federal Government report for Canada Immigration released on July 2, 2019 released many important observations that were evaluated round the year. It was seen that more than 92,000 permanent residents were invited through Express entry in 2018.
- (1888PressRelease) July 06, 2019 - The report shown was to tell the admission targets under Express Entry Program through different categories like program, country origin, occupation, and provincial nomination programs. The applicants in the express entry profile were nearly 280,000 out of which 70 percent were eligible for at least one of the three federal skilled programs.
The maximum number of invitations was given through Federal Skilled Worker Program followed by Canadian Experience Class and then Federal Skilled Trade Class.
The next in the report was the invitation through provincial nominee program where a total of 10,802 were invited through express entry system in which Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and British Columbia were the highest number of invitation takers with Ontario in the lead and Nova Scotia at the last in PNP nominations through Express Entry.
The most number of invitations occupations wise was targeted towards Software Engineers followed by Information System Analysts and Consultants. The third most common occupation was financial auditors and administrative assistants.
Talking about country wise invitations, Indians received most number of invitations under Express Entry followed by China and then Nigeria.
