Campus Hong Kong Guests : You're In The Right City For World-Class Attractions
Hong Kong offers a diverse choice of world-class attractions ranging from amusement parks to historical sights to harbour cruising, which are easily reached from much of the destination's hotel, serviced apartment and off-campus student housing locales.
- (1888PressRelease) October 28, 2015 - On the list of 'Top 10 Hong Kong Attractions' that features on the Hong Kong Tourism Board website are the Ladies' Market, Temple Street Night Market, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple and the Clock Tower - all of which are in Kowloon's Tsim Sha Tsui area, The Peak which is the highest point on Hong Kong Island, Ocean Park Hong Kong on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island and Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Hong Kong Island harbourside.
Also on the list is the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, however this attraction is now closed for repair and improvement works due for completion at the end of 2018.
When it comes to theme parks, the choice in Hong Kong is truly world-class. On Lantau Island not far from Campus Hong Kong are Hong Kong Disneyland and Ngong Ping 360, while Ma Wan Island also in the vicinity is the location of Noah's Ark Hong Kong.
Hong Kong also boasts its own Madame Tussauds, situated at The Peak on Hong Kong Island.
Stunning day and night time views of iconic Victoria Harbour can be enjoyed on the 60-metre high Hong Kong Observation Wheel in Hong Kong Island's Central area. The 100th floor of Hong Kong's tallest building the International Commerce Centre (ICC) hosts the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck which affords spectacular 360-degree views of the harbour.
Victoria Harbour is an attraction in itself, as are the Star Ferry vessels which ply the harbour's waters between Kowloon and Kong Kong Island. Each year they carry tens of millions of commuters and local residents, while they are also considered to be among the world's best value-for-money sightseeing trips on which tourists can take in the panoramic harbour views and dramatic Hong Kong skyline.
Acclaimed as one of the world's best public transport systems, the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) boasts an extensive network covering much of Hong Kong. With many hotels, serviced apartments and off-campus student housing properties handy to an MTR station, it makes for a convenient, safe and affordable mode of travelling around.
Campus Hong Kong operates a complimentary shuttle bus that takes guests from their dorms or student apartments in Tsuen Wan Road to and from the nearby Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West MTR stations.
