Cameron Ross announces winners of its Win Your Wedding Outfits Facebook competition
A lucky UK couple has been announced winners of leading formal wear specialist Cameron Ross' social media competition, Win Your Wedding Outfits, to win a complete set of wedding day outfits for the Groom's party.
- (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2012 - Launching the competition in February 2012 on the retailer's Facebook page, formal hirewear expert, Cameron Ross, invited entrants to submit the stories surrounding their proposals to be in with a chance of winning their pick of the extensive Cameron Ross range of wedding outfit hirewear for the Groom's party.
Drawing entries from couples across the UK, the competition was designed to celebrate the light-hearted, romantic and exotic aspects of modern weddings, and was launched in recognition of the leap year tradition that encourages ladies to take the marital initiative and pop the question to slow-moving bridegrooms themselves.
Having entered the Win Your Wedding Outfit competition with her heartwarming proposal tale, bride to be Amie Hotchin is thrilled that her story swayed the judges.
"Our win was so unexpected - I didn't think anyone else would be that impressed! Being in the middle of getting everything finalised, it's a fantastic surprise to be able to tick the men's outfits off our 'to do' list, not to mention being able to think about how to spend the money I would've spent on outfits, on something else!
"We're really looking forward to our wedding day now, and of course I can't wait to see the men looking handsome in their Cameron Ross kilts!" continued Amie.
Richard Freedman, Managing Director at Cameron Ross added:
"Well done to Amie and Ben. We were overwhelmed by the quality and diversity of entries to our competition. We hadn't expected such a positive response, and it's safe to say that the UK public are certainly an imaginative bunch when it comes to proposing! The story of Ben's proposal to Amie really stood out for us and we're pleased to help with their wedding day outfits.
Congratulations again to the happy couple and their wedding party, and we're looking forward to seeing photos of them all dressed up on the day!"
