All survey participants receive a free electronic report and an invitation to participate in an in-depth debriefing of the results, which will provide employers with the information that is most critical in managing their employee benefits plan, allowing for a comparison of plan designs, premiums and cost-sharing arrangements with other N.C. companies.

- With previous surveys collecting data from more than 515 N.C. employers, no other survey has this amount of N.C.-based data.
- The majority of participants are small to mid-sized companies with less than 1,000 employees.
- Survey data is divided by traditional plans and consumer-driven health plans in addition to being further filtered by number of eligible employees, industry and funding arrangement. Survey results provide an analysis of longer term healthcare benefits trends and competitive practices.
- Employers can use the survey data to develop an effective employee benefits strategy, compare and benchmark their benefits plan with other N.C. employers with similar numbers of employees and/or by industry. It allows them the opportunity to stay competitive in the labor market and learn how other employers are reacting to healthcare reform.
