-"Do the Math - Will You Play or Will You Pay?" is a presentation led by Rob Krieg, JD, and Dax Hill that will teach attendees about the health care reform's play or pay provisions going into effect on January 1, 2014. Krieg and Hill are both principal health & welfare consultants for Hill, Chesson & Woody Employee Benefit Services. Together, they will provide an overview of the play or pay requirements and teach employers how to minimize penalty assessments by considering these provisions in their benefits strategies. Additionally, they will explain questions such as: How are employees counted for the 50 full-time employee exclusion? What constitutes minimum essential coverage, and how much can employers charge employees for this coverage? What are the safe harbors on classifying full time employees?
