Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation Welcomes New Leadership and Promotions
Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (Cabrillo EDC), the largest developer of affordable homes in Ventura County, is excited to announce the addition of two new leaders to its team and the promotion of valued staff members.
- Ventura, CA (1888PressRelease) October 31, 2024 - The addition and promotion of these remarkable individuals reflect Cabrillo EDC’s goal of strengthening its leadership and enhancing the ability to serve the community with high-quality affordable housing solutions and resident services.
Cabrillo EDC welcomes two new hires, Jerrick Holloway and Bianca Farmer. Holloway joins the team as Director of Project Management. With over 15 years of experience in property and asset management, Holloway brings a wealth of knowledge to Cabrillo EDC. He will oversee the property management team, guiding them in supporting the organization’s growing affordable housing portfolio. Holloway is known for his problem-solving skills and relationship-building abilities with regulatory and financial partners. Farmer is the new Director of Resident and Community Services. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Farmer has a deep passion for supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. She will oversee clinical and community engagement services for Cabrillo EDC residents, ensuring the highest quality of care and programming across the organization’s developments.
Cabrillo EDC extends congratulations to Brenda Mares and Maria Quintero on their promotions. Mares is now the Director of Human Resources. She is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience and holds several certifications. Mares is dedicated to fostering workforce development, employee retention, and compliance within Cabrillo EDC. Quintero has been with Cabrillo EDC since 2008 and has been promoted to Director of Compliance. Her leadership and experience in managing tax credit and USDA-RD Farm Worker communities will continue to be a vital asset to the organization. Cabrillo EDC also thanks Quintero for her exceptional work as Interim Director of Project Management.
