Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation Celebrates Successful Groundbreaking Ceremony for Buellton Village Senior Apartments
Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (Cabrillo EDC) is thrilled to announce the successful groundbreaking for their newest development.
- Appleton, WI (1888PressRelease) August 28, 2024 - The Village Senior Apartments is a highly anticipated affordable housing community designed for seniors. The project will feature 50 units, 13 of which will be dedicated to senior veterans. The event, held on August 15, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Cabrillo EDC’s ongoing commitment to addressing the housing needs of seniors and senior veterans in Santa Barbara County.
The ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Mayor David King of the City of Buellton, Amisha DeYoung-Dominguez, Esquire and District Representative for Congressman Salud Carbajal, and Pamela Gnekow, CEO of Santa Ynez Valley Community Outreach, and more. They spoke about what the Senior Village Apartments mean to the underserved population of seniors and senior veterans who will now have a place to thrive, as well as the obstacles that Cabrillo EDC had to overcome to bring this project to fruition. The speakers’ involvement in this event highlighted the significance of this project and the positive impact it will bring to the local community.
