- (1888PressRelease) July 13, 2011 - Armin Van Buuren's re-mastered remix version of iiO's Platinum Hit "Rapture", featuring Nadia Ali has already shot up to #4 on the BeatPort Trance charts after just a few days of release. Fans have been asking for this track since "Rapture Platinum" came out in 2008.
This sensational and amazing sounding remaster of the rare remix is part of an ongoing campaign to bring a series of iiO classics from the Made Records vaults to the public, all sounding better than ever. This release comes on the heels of countless critical accolades for the recently released album "Exit 110" featuring the hit single "It'll Be Like". Heavily influenced by 80's synthesizer hardware, nostalgic new-romanticism elements appear musically and melodically across the album, in which the sounds themselves steer the direction of the songs.
Featured on the Armin Van Buuren remix, of course, is Nadia Ali; without a doubt the leading female vocalist in house music. The album "Embers" in 2009, and "Queen of Clubs Trilogy" in 2010 proved her as one of the most easily recognized voices in dance music. Nadia's solo efforts saw her nominated for Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) at the 53rd Grammy Awards for the remix of "Fantasy."
