Butterfly Fields wins 3rd Global Innovation Case Study Contest conducted by All India Management Association
Hyderabad based Social Enterprise Butterfly Fields has won the case study competition themed "Democratizing Innovation: A Game Changer for Inclusive Growth" as part of the 3rd Global Innovation Conference held by AIMA (All India Management Association).

The field of participants included teams from large organizations like ITC, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors, Dr. Reddy's, Bosch, Marico & Titan. The recognition is a testimony to the organizations journey in social entrepreneurship to provide sustainable solutions to complex challenges in Education.
Studies conducted by various Organisations have indicated that learning levels are not meeting the goals set out in the RTE Act, that mandate child centric, child-friendly learning. The Case Study brought out gaps in learning and understanding skills of Indian students and work done in trying to bring innovative learning methodologies like Hands On learning and Concept Maps to a wider net of students.
Case Study specifically highlighted Hands-On learning process as a solution to address gaps in Learning across Private, Government & Affordable Private Schools. Children understand abstract and complex concepts better and apply them to various real life scenarios by experiencing activity based learning programs. Studies based on third party Learning Outcome assessments indicate a significant positive shift in Science & Math subjects in schools implementing such programs.
