Butterball, LLC Executive Elected as Chairman for the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council

- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) July 15, 2010 - Joel Coleman, vice president and general manager of international sales for Butterball, LLC, has been appointed chairman of the board for the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC). His election was announced during the USAPEEC's 25th Annual Meeting, which took place last month in Austin, Tex.
As chairman, Coleman will head the eight-member USAPEEC Executive Committee, which sets policy and gives direction to USAPEEC, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and increasing exports of U.S. chicken, turkey, duck and egg products worldwide.
"As a member of the Butterball team, I am proud to be a part of a committee that is leading the charge in exporting the high quality poultry and egg products produced in the United States," said Coleman.
Coleman was promoted to vice president and general manager of international sales for Butterball three years ago. Prior to joining the Butterball brand, Coleman held the position of export sales director for Carolina Turkeys, where he developed sales in more than 50 countries and was recognized as the Sales Manager of the Year in 2002.
