BusinessTrack to deploy C4evo telematics blackbox for Heineken fleet
Dutch telematics service provider BusinessTrack has selected Mobile Devices' C4evo blackbox to equip Heineken trucks with a Track and Trace solution in the company's home country of Holland.
- (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2013 - In a deal that reinforces Mobile Devices' increasing dominance in the telematics device market in the Benelux region, close to two hundred devices have already been installed in Heineken's fleet and connected to the T3 platform. This set up puts BusinessTrack at the vanguard of integrated fleet solutions, and the company will be positioned to offer Heineken the benefits of its forthcoming driver behaviour module.
www.business-track.nl's success in the fleet management sector is attributed to several factors:
- Its business ethic promotes personal and close relationships with fleet customers, with 7 days a week phone service and support.
- Its ability to take on a variety of projects from basic to very specific - for instance, providing temperature (wired and wireless) in combination with personal identification and communication.
- BusinessTrack also puts a strong focus on service and flexibility; giving partners the flexibility to choose their own terms, rather than locking them into long-term contracts.
The T3 vehicle management platform is a solution from Beta Nine, a Benelux leader in management and reporting for the past ten years. The T3 platform is built to adapt to various requirements, fleet types and devices and to switch easily if and when necessary.
Martijn Grijzenhout, co-owner of BusinessTrack, commented: "The C4evo telematics blackbox is very well priced for the array of features it contains, such as wired temperature, iButton, in/output ports. We also found it very easy to program and integrate with our platform."
In fact it instantly became a key element of BusinessTrack's offering as it perfectly matched Heineken's requirements for an objective insight on miles driven and stops made by its trucks across its nine depot centres in The Netherlands.
As it grows organically, BusinessTrack already looks forward to its next level of services, starting with TPMS (Tyre Pressure Measurement Systems), which the company plans to integrate with the C4Evo. Grijzenhout envisages that the driver will get an alert if a tyre pressure is too low, and the alert will also be sent to the fleet manager who can take pro-active measures to ensure safety and safeguard productivity.
