Busch Systems Partners with Keep America Beautiful in an Effort to Increase Recycling in the Workplace
Busch System has partnered with Keep America Beautiful in an effort to increase recycling rates across the USA. The "Recycling at Work" program allows businesses to purchase bins at a discounted rate for the purpose of recycling in the workplace.
- (1888PressRelease) September 27, 2013 - Barrie, Ontario - Busch Systems International, a leading manufacturer of recycling, waste and compost containers has partnered with Keep America Beautiful (KAB) on the "Recycling at Work" program. The program is a voluntary national effort to increase recycling in the workplace. Businesses right across North America are encouraged to take a 'pledge' to increase their recycling efforts.
As an incentive for businesses to participate, Busch Systems has offered an exclusive opportunity to purchase discounted recycling bins to those companies that become a "Pledge Partner". Businesses that take the 'pledge' are given the opportunity to purchase bins at a 15% discount off the list price. This offer includes a variety of different bin styles for office settings, from economical deskside bins to aesthetically distinctive receptacles appropriate for the executive suite.
After taking the 'pledge', businesses will receive a promotional code to be used for online purchasing of recycling containers.
"We're very excited to be a part of this effort", states Elizabeth Lightfoot, Regional Manager at Busch Systems. "One of the barriers in which businesses must face when it comes to recycling is obviously the cost involved in purchasing bins and containers for collection."
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, less than 10% of businesses in the United States were recycling as of 2011.
"The benefits as a result of increasing recycling rates are substantial", states Lightfoot. "Hopefully, we can help KAB in their efforts by making it easier for companies right across the country to purchase bins".
