Burlington Global hires Kenji Tanaka to lead continued growth in Japan
WAN CHAI - Burlington Global today announced that Kenji Tanaka will join the Firm at its new Country Director of Japan to expand its services in the country.
- (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2022 - Kenji Tanaka will advise and support Burlington Global’s Japanese client base and oversee all investment transactions in Japan as the firm continues to expand its presence in the country.
Prior to joining Burlington Global, Kenji spent 8 years at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in Tokyo and then moved to Hong Kong for a stint with Standard Chartered and then moved to London and Zurich before returning back to Asia where he has held various leadership roles within several Investment Banking institutions.
Kenji Tanaka began his career at Mizuho Bank where she started off in their Securities Division. He then joined Japan Post Bank and held senior leadership positions and also played a part in Japan Post Bank’s successful IPO.
