Buhler Aeroglide Names New President and CEO
Buhler Aeroglide, a global leader in thermal process engineering and technology for food, feed, and industrial materials, has announced a new president and CEO. Hans-Joerg Ill has been appointed to head Buhler Aeroglide and he succeeds Jonathan Abbis.
- (1888PressRelease) February 07, 2014 - Cary, NC - Hansjorg Ill comes to Bühler Aeroglide with over 25 years of experience within Bühler Group. Ill served as a project and engineering manager in various functions within Buhler's food processing division and also man-aged complex large-scale projects worldwide. In 2005, Ill moved to corporate sales and service management where he helped build the company's presence in Asia and Africa before heading the Europe region. Most recently, Ill led the automation and logistics departments for Bühler Group working from Uzwil, Switzerland.
"Hansjorg brings a successful record of accomplishments that have expanded Bühler both domestically and internationally," said Jonathan Abbis who will leave the company to head Bühler's die casting division in Europe. "He understands the needs of our customers and has experience that will help us ensure the company's continued success."
Ill inherits a division of Bühler well positioned for growth. Abbis integrated Aeroglide into the Bühler Group by positioning it to leverage Bühler's global sales and service platforms, realigning its product and marketing strategies to add value to the overall Bühler product offering, and helping the company achieve growth and profitability.
