- (1888PressRelease) January 22, 2015 - Bühler Aeroglide has introduced the SmartRoast conveyor roaster, an efficient and reliable solution for nut roasting applications that include peanuts, sunflower seeds, chestnuts, walnuts and almonds. Engineered for applications of 1,000 kilograms or less per hour, the new SmartRoast promises a con-sistent roast that meets required specifications and comes with Bühler's trademark quality and local support.

The SmartRoast can be powered by efficient gas burners or thermal oil heat. It's designed with a hopper feeder to evenly load nuts or seeds onto the product bed for consistent roasting, and a discharge drop board that eases the transition from the dryer conveyor to the take away conveyor. For fast and effective cleaning, SmartRoast features removable paneled doors that give operators access to all product contact areas, along with a rotating bed brush system to thoroughly clean the surface of the product bed as the conveyor cycles.
