Attorneys Caitlin Gray, Maria K. McGinty-Ferris and Lauren M. Williams Join Curtin & Heefner.

Caitlin Gray and Maria K. McGinty-Ferris join Curtin & Heefner's Litigation Section, while Lauren M. Williams joins the firm's Environmental & Public Sector Group. Ms. Gray and Ms. McGinty-Ferris concentrate their practices in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on property damage and bad faith claims. Ms. Williams concentrates her practice in the areas of environmental law and land use law.
Ms. Gray is a 2011 graduate of Villanova University School of Law. Prior to joining Curtin & Heefner, she served as a law clerk with Federal Hearings and Appeals Services Inc. As a law student, Ms. Gray received Villanova Law's Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service, volunteering her time as a Legal Services Coordinator for Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Rayford Allen Means of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Gray is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Pennsylvania, Bucks County, New Jersey and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
Ms. McGinty-Ferris joins Curtin & Heefner with several years of experience in insurance defense litigation, having worked on federal and state multi-district cases arising from pharmaceutical products liability. Ms. McGinty-Ferris has also served as a volunteer attorney, handling civil liberties and prisoner rights matters. Active in the community, she is a member of the Young Professionals Committee of CORA Services, a non-profit agency that provides assistance to children and families in the Greater Philadelphia area. Ms. McGinty-Ferris is a 2004 graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Temple Law Scholars Scholarship and was honored with the recognition of Best Papers in both Criminal Law and Entertainment Law. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is a member of the Pennsylvania, Bucks County and New Jersey Bar Associations.
A 2011 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Ms. Williams was previously a Certified Legal Intern at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Environmental Law Clinic. She also gained experience as a Summer Honors Program Law Clerk with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and as a legal extern with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Ms. Williams was a managing editor of The University of Pittsburgh Law Review, and served as a teaching assistant for an environmental law, policy and politics course. She earned a certificate in Environmental Law, Science and Policy, graduated Order of the Coif and was the Pitt Law recipient of the Allegheny County Bar Association Environment & Energy Law Section 2011 Environmental Law Scholarship Award. She also received a Dean's Scholarship and volunteered for "The Wills Project," which assists low-income senior citizens with the drafting of wills, living wills and powers of attorney. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Ms. Williams is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association.
