Bucks County Historical Society Elects Curtin & Heefner Attorney Krista Harper as Co-Vice Chair of Board

- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) February 04, 2011 - The Bucks County Historical Society has elected Krista Harper, an attorney and partner with Bucks County law firm Curtin & Heefner, LLP, as Co-Vice Chair of the organization along with Tom Thomas of Frosch Travel.
A business and real estate attorney, Ms. Harper has been involved with the Society for approximately eight years, serving as Chair of the Mercer Business Associates for three years, as a Trustee for the past three years, and as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Governance Committee for the past two years.
"Bucks County's rich historical background provides texture to our lives. I am intrigued by change and see history as a way to appreciate the speed and magnitude of change in our lives. Based in the firm's Doylestown, Pa. office, Ms. Harper's areas of concentration include business law, real estate law and finance law. She represents clients in major transactions and serves as general counsel. Ms. Harper represents clients in matters including the purchase and sale of businesses; the purchase, development and sale of real estate; bank, seller and equity financing; the formation and structuring of limited liability companies, corporations, partnership and joint ventures; formation and transition of condominiums; and contract review and drafting. She counsels clients on business succession planning and has a concentration of family business clients. The Bucks County Historical Society is a private nonprofit organization which operates the Mercer and Fonthill museums in Doylestown, Pa. - both accredited by the American Association of Museums. The Mercer Museum is currently raising funds for a $12 million expansion and renovation program to expand changing exhibition space, education space, and visitor services.
