Bucks County Education Attorney to Speak at Lehigh University Special Education Law Conference
Pennsylvania special ed lawyer Hollie B. John to discuss impacts of truancy.

The conference, entitled The Latest Legal Lessons of a Long-Lasting Idea, will be held on May 13, 2016, at Lehigh's Mountaintop campus. Ms. John will present on the topic of truancy prevention, including compulsory school attendance laws as applied; the social, economic, educational and legal impacts of truancy; and, the crossover of truancy and special education. The course prepares educators for district-wide responsibilities related to pupil personnel services, including school counseling, child accounting, health services, school psychology, and special education.
