BT Diamond IP Expands IP Address Management Features
BT Diamond IP, a leading provider of software and appliance products that help customers effectively manage complex Internet protocol (IP) networks, has announced availability of IPControl™ release 3.1.
- (1888PressRelease) December 27, 2011 - IPControl is a leading software and appliance solution for automating and simplifying complex IP address management (IPAM)functions.
The IPControl 3.1 release expands on many existing industry-leading IPAM features, including:
• Enhanced IPControl Executive redundancy support using database replication.
• Expanded host discovery through Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) table discovery and reconciliation.
• Administrator-focused audit reporting, enabling reporting on system activity as well as log in attempts and log outs.
• Support of overlapping public address space, in addition to the current overlapping private space support.
• Expanded IPAM features including support of device-specific DHCP option sets, ad hoc naming policy overrides, post DHCP lease address type modifications and additional IPv6 features.
• IPControl version 3.1 upgrades are available for customers deploying IPControl software as well as award-winning Sapphire appliances.
