bsoco, The Software Comparison Tool Publishes Its 4th Barometer For 2013
A clear and unique document which analyzes tendencies in the software market.
- (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2014 - bsoco, the leader of the benchmark community of software professionals, released its eleventh barometer (the final one for 2013). This document presents the buying tendencies for B2B software in the months of October, November and December. This reference barometer gives quarterly performance indicators in software areas such as CRM, ERP, e-learning, SIRH, CMS, etc. The final page of the report also presents a global picture for 2013.
A forecast of clear skies is what one might conclude from bsoco projections. In effect, even if the recovery of investment in professional software was not massive in 2013, buying trends still increased by 53% compared to 2012. This upswing is particularly evident in the final quarter, which jumped by 47% over last year and 29% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2013.
CRM software remains at the top of this wave, as it has been for several quarters now. Companies are investing heavily in tools to aid and develop their client portfolios. They are also starting to invest equally in their human capital, especially training. In effect, all software concerning e-learning (LCMS, LMS) is on the rise. In the performance categories, there has also been an increase in HR software (payroll, recruiting, talent management).
The average price of software declined by 1.03% in the final quarter. However, for all of 2013 prices edged up by 0.22%.
Among the countries leading in software investment this year, Switzerland, France and England were the best performers. Spain was also very dynamic, ranking 2nd in the CRM category, while North Africa is more inclined to purchase in the ERP category.
Finally, bsoco has revealed its regular TOP 50 list, which ranks the top 50 software programs in its database according to user satisfaction. One might note the third-place finish of ERP software Epicore or the excellent performance of new CRM software Welcome AT, which enters the list in 16th place. Other strong showings include recruitment software Filefinder, which moved up the rankings 6 places to 35th place worldwide.
