Webinar On Reverse Mortgages And History Of Home Equity Conversion Mortgage.
- (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2016 - Bruce H. Levitt, Managing Partner, Levitt & Slafkes, P.C., recently presented a webinar for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE). Levitt and Victor Medina, Esq., discussed reverse mortgages as well as a brief history of the home equity conversion mortgage. The webinar was held November 22, 2016 and approved for CLE credits.
According to Levitt, "I am often contacted by seniors who want to save their home facing foreclosure on their reverse mortgage. I get great satisfaction helping them avoid foreclosure and remain in their home through a combination of litigation strategies, loan modifications and bankruptcy. I encourage seniors or their adult children to contact me as soon as they fall behind on their taxes or insurance or need to leave their home for an extended period of time to obtain medical or other care. I present this reverse mortgage seminar to make other attorneys aware of the triggers leading to reverse mortgage defaults and to let them know there are remedies available after the default occurs."
Mr. Levitt has lectured and given seminars to lawyers, individuals and homeowners on bankruptcy, loan modifications and foreclosure related topics. For more information on Bruce Levitt, please click here.
