Brothers Grimm Records Announces Release of 'Ambassadors'

(1888PressRelease) June 20, 2013 - Spotswood, N.J. - Brothers Grimm Records, a New Jersey-based record label and production company, has announced the upcoming release of "Ambassadors," a new full-length album featuring a number of prolific recording artists from the underground hip-hop community.

Entirely produced by DUS, Brothers Grimm's co-founder and producer, "Ambassadors" will officially be released on June 25. Digital downloads of the album will be available through numerous online venues, including iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.com, with physical copies sold through Amazon and www.dusjustblazed.com.

The album fuses hip-hop with samples drawn from a wide range of musical genres, including funk, soul, jazz and rock and roll. It features original recordings from such major East Coast artists as Killah Priest, Roc Marciano, Eloh Kush, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Napoleon Da Legend, DJ Kwestion, Pryme Prolifik, Ceazar, JoJo Pellegrino, Spit Gemz and Tragedy Khadafi.

"Putting together 'Ambassadors' was a tremendous collaborative effort," said John Stachowski, co-founder of Brothers Grimm Records. "It's a real accomplishment to have so many great artists work together to create a record that flows seamlessly from one song to the next. 'Ambassadors' is a truly outstanding album from start to finish, and we're excited for its launch."

Two singles from the album have already been released, including "Casino," featuring Roc Marciano with cuts from DJ Kwestion of the hip-hop group Jedi Mind Tricks. The album's title track, "Ambassadors," was also released in anticipation of the upcoming full album, and the song features Tragedy Khadafi.

The entire album was mixed and mastered by Andrew Krivonos at the Brewery Recording studio in Brooklyn, N.Y.

"What we've come out with is purely organic. There's no forced 'club track' or 'R&B track'-it's just good underground hip-hop all the way through," said Stachowski. "At its core, 'Ambassadors' is an album for music lovers. We've put countless hours into brainstorming, collaborating, recording and mastering in an effort to produce the best album possible.
