Joseph McElmeel, Chairman and CEO of executive search firm Brooke Chase Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of Desi Spratling as Manager Assembly and Finishing for Timberland Cabinetry.
- (1888PressRelease) October 03, 2019 - Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, Desi will oversee all cabinetry finishing and assembly operations and lead them to meet demands for both current and new customers as the company drives continued growth. Challenges in this new role include leading lean initiatives and transforming a large number of new employees into a focused, cohesive and self motivated workforce. These efforts will bring predictability and order to manufacturing as well as increase performance. Desi will also assist with implementing a new ERP system.
With an extensive background in cabinetry manufacturing, Desi was most recently Plant Manager for Wellborn Forest Products where he led a transformation in performance and employee morale. Desi previously held several progressive operations leadership positions with Masterbrand Cabinetry. Desi received his bachelor’s degree in Business from Trident University and is trained in lean manufacturing methods.
