British Standard Cupboards Bring Back Colour into The Kitchen
Online kitchen company, BRITISH STANDARD CUPBOARDS, has steered away from the austere-looking greys of the current kitchen colour trend, and responded by decorating their newly opened Hoxton Square showroom in a vibrant selection of paints.
- (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2012 - It is hoped that the showroom will inspire customers to be braver with their colour choices.
"There is a tendency to be too restrained when it comes to choosing a kitchen colour scheme. The concept of BRITISH STANDARD CUPBOARDS, where customers must paint their own units, gives people the opportunity to be creative, and the cupboards, which are handmade from high-quality and ethically sourced wood, allow for easy repainting, should customers ever wish for a change: we wanted to show what could be done with a little imagination and courage" (Tony Niblock, Managing Director).
Opened in July, the showroom houses four hand painted kitchens which have been decorated in colours sourced from Papers & Paints and Little Greene Paint Company. Colours include 'Pale Medici Blue', 'Deep Egyptian Green', 'Pale Lime' and 'Pale Powder Blue'.
The showroom can be found at 41 Hoxton Square, London, and is open to the public Monday to Saturday. Kitchens are available to buy from www.britishstandardcupboards.co.uk and prices start from £4,000 (inc. VAT).
