- (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2013 - Britannic Technologies has secured Professional Service Provider status with VMware, the global leader in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure. The development highlights the continuing commitment of Britannic Technologies to provide innovative state of the art solutions that are simple and flexible for the user.
The accreditation comes on the back of over 18 months of development work on cloud and virtualisation solutions by Britannic, with the VMware platform being at the core.
Britannic Technologies are experts in telecommunications and provide end to end managed service offerings for cloud communications systems. As a Mitel Premier Partner they have been providing organisations with innovative cloud and virtualised telecommunications environments since inception.
Britannic Technologies have long invested with VMware, building a VMware hosting platform currently being delivered across 3 datacentres distributed around the UK. A recent installation with Kent Messenger Group providing them with a market leading virtualised telephony system has become the envy of the industry, and it is through the VMware platform that this was possible.
WWF also implemented a Britannic virtualised solution that enabled them to experience reduced costs to their pockets, and reduced costs to the environment. This was possible through centralising 4 offices and a co-location through a virtualised VMware platform hosted in Britannic datacentres.
Britannic Technologies and Mitel have been market leaders in providing cloud, virtualised telephony and communications solutions to all organisations no matter what size:
"Mitel and Britannic have enjoyed a successful long term relationship underpinned by the added value they bring to our joint customers. Britannic's strategic vision combined with their obsessive partnership attitude to customers ensures that they deliver the right solution not just to solve a business issue, but to help drive that business forward." Graham Bevington, Executive Vice President, International Markets, Mitel.
It is this dedication to innovation that saw Britannic Technology attend this years' Cloud Expo Europe to drive uptake of cloud telephony and to illuminate the possibilities of virtualising communications systems. Jonathan Sharp and Tim Couper, Sales and Marketing Director and Technical Director respectively also commanded 2 speaking slots at the event and delivered their vision for the future and the realities of the possibilities to a captivated audience.
"We are seeing rapidly growing interest in migrating telephony to the cloud, and it is something that we had predicted a couple of years ago as the benefits became more evident," says Jonathan Sharp, Sales & Marketing Director for Britannic, "and we envisage the curve of adoption to get much steeper. This recent accreditation with VMware is just another rubber stamp of approval on our expertise and capabilities to deliver state of the art technologies that deliver flexible, scalable, resilient, cheaper, converged, and unified communications."
Britannic Technologies work closely with VMware's distributor Specialist Distribution Group:
"Britannic Technologies is ahead of the field in delivering Mitel solutions on a VMware platform. With significant internal investment in their VMware hosted platform and developers who are enhancing voice solutions on VMware their strategic vision, combined with in-depth technical competence should ensure their customers achieve the best possible solutions." Daniel Cartter, EMEA Director, Cloud Solutions & Services, SDG.
