Bridgestone Global Partners Boosts Global Cash Equity Division and Trading Capabilities
In its effort of continuous business expansion particularly on the trading capabilities of its global equities division, Bridgestone Global Partners, a leading commodity futures and brokerage trading service firm, has announced additional senior traders to help expand Global Cash Equities divisions.
- (1888PressRelease) September 05, 2012 - Bridgestone Global Partners has built its major capabilities across global cash equities particularly in London, US, Asia and Australia and had continuously focused on intensification its sales, cash and research service offerings since it was launched in the commodity markets in 2008.
The three newly hired senior trading professionals were Greg Munn, Howard Meizer and Jonathan Bayes. Greg Munn will be based in New York, Howard Meizer in London while Jonathan Bayes will take charge the Cash Equities division in Asia. These three will directly report to Mr. Ian Cummings, Bridgestone Global Partners' Managing Director for Global Cash Equities Sales and Trading Department.
Commenting on the latest addition of three Senior Trading professionals to the Global Cash Equities Divisions of Bridgestone Global Partners, Mr. Ian Cummings said: "During the previous years, we joined among other 20 brokerage firms as top players in the US derivatives and program trading as measured by international traders association and with this recognition, we immediately decided to extend our trading service through the development of our cash equities division. With the addition of the three in our cash equities divisions worldwide, we are expecting them to share their market knowledge, extensive trading experience and business relationships to ensure that clients will achieve their investment targets through our excellent trading service."
Greg Munn joined Bridgestone Global Partners as Senior Technology Trader. He brings a total of 20 years of sell-side trading experience to Bridgestone Global Partners where he previously assigned at the UK Cash Equities Trading division for four years. Prior to previous job assignments, Greg worked at UK-based International Bank where he held Managerial position of Technology Trading. As the new Managing Director of Bridgestone Global's London-based Cash Equities Division, he is expected to augment business partnerships among UK investors on the cash equities trading division.
Assigned as the new Managing Director of Bridgestone Global Partners' Cash Equities Division in US, Howard Meizer previously joined the firm as Executive Director and Senior Industrial trader for US-based trading desk office. Howard Meizer spent seven years at Bank of America and nine years in the now defunct Bear Stearns.
Jonathan Bayes will be based on the Cash Equities Division of Bridgestone Global Partners in Asia. He was previously assigned as Senior Consumer Trader of the firm. With his 17 years of trading experience mostly in Asia Pacific region, he is expected to help Bridgestone Global Partners in its intensification focus of Cash Equities Division in Asia, providing Asian clients with top-notch and quality trading services on this instrument.
