As part of Brides Across America's commitment to support our troops and veterans, the non-profit organization has hosted its 6th annual bridal gown giveaway at salons nationwide. From Los Angeles to New York, bridal salons nationwide joined forces by giving away free designer wedding gowns to military brides. To date, Brides Across America has donated over 7,000 wedding gowns from prominent designers. The donated gowns are valued between $500 and $4,000 and range in size.
Without organizations like Brides Across America, many military brides would not have the chance to choose a designer gown for their special day due to economic circumstances. Brides Across America's founder, Heidi Janson, wants to continue making dreams come true for military couples that have not had the opportunity to plan their dream wedding due to deployment. "Our continued efforts as an organization are to bring awareness to our communities. My goal is to make sure we don't forget all the servicemen and women overseas fighting for our freedom".
