Brian Alfaro to Sponsor Annual San Antonio Tower Climb
Brian Alfaro will sponsor the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 29th annual charity run event.
- San Antonio, TX (1888PressRelease) January 21, 2014 - For the twenty-ninth year the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is hosting its annual Tower Climb and Run on February 1, 2014. The Tower Climb and Run funds research programs seeking a cure for cystic fibrosis, a debilitating genetic disorder most often affecting the lungs.
Brian Alfaro, the operator of successful oil and natural gas exploration in the Eagle Ford Shale, is sponsoring this annual event. An avid supporter of San Antonio charities, Alfaro believes in giving aid to help those in need. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at a young age, Alfaro has a long record of donating time and funds to cure debilitating diseases.
In an interview with NSide SA Alfaro said, "Having MS really forced me to see things either half empty or half full. I chose half full. It either breaks you or makes you stronger, and it made me stronger."
Alfaro's experience with MS encouraged his development as a charitable businessman-participating in events with dozens of charities over the past few years alone. Alfaro has increased charitable giving with the goal of sharing the wealth and improving the lives of others. This year Alfaro has already given aid to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Red Heart Association, Susan G. Komen, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Thanks to funding from supporters such as Brian Alfaro, research into cystic fibrosis has been able to improve the quality of life of those afflicted by this disease. Join Brian Alfaro on Saturday, February 1 to participate in the Tower Climb and Run benefiting the Lone Star Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
