According to draft resolution, pigments and dyes in food contact cellulosic materials and articles will be required to conform to the Grade 5 grayscale in BS EN 646 ‘Paper and board intended to come into contact with foodstuffs – Determination of color fastness of dyed paper and board.
The draft resolution was circulated by the World trade Organization (WTO) on January 7, 2022, attached to WTO document no. 22-0190. ANVISA will accept comments until March 7, 2022.
