  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) June 11, 2015 - Brad Garrett has had a career that many performers would envy. He became an A-list stand-up comedian after winning on "Star Search" and, after several years at the top as a professional stand-up, moved into television, performing in nearly 250 episodes of situation comedy. He is best known for his roles of Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond (for which he won three Emmy ® Awards and a SAG Award) and as Eddie Stark on Till Death. He was also nominated for an Emmy® and a SAG Award for his portrayal of The Great One in the telefilm Gleason.

Along the way, he also became one of busiest voice-over talents in Hollywood (Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Tangled) and also starred on Broadway in the revival of The Odd Couple. His films include Not Fade Away, Music and Lyrics, Suicide Kings and Sweet and Lowdown.

A phenomenal career in stand-up comedy includes being one of the youngest comics to ever appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jonny Carson, opening for Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra, and opening his own comedy club at MGM Grand in Las Vegas to capacity crowds.

He'll next be seen in the second TV season of Fargo and is alo developing a network hour pilot written by David E. Kelley in which Garrett will star on ABC.

The Gallery division of Simon and Schuster published Garrett's autobiographical book When The Balls Drop in May, 2015.
