Proven Self-Assessment Tool, Valued at $175, Free with Event Registration.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2010 - The Business and Professional Women's Clubs of North Carolina (BPW/NC) is offering a free DISC assessment to registrants for their Women Empowered and Enlightened event, which will take place on Saturday, November 13th at the Hampton Inn and Suites RDU Airport/Brier Creek. Registration information for the event is located at http://bit.ly/driJSg.
The DISC assessment, a proven tool used for years by professionals and global organizations, will be the focal point of an interactive presentation delivered at the Women Empowered and Enlightened Event by Donna Hall, a Certified Advanced Behavioral Strategist and Partner at Raleigh Consulting Group. Hall will lead audiences in an eye-opening session geared toward using the DISC behavioral model to understand themselves and others better in professional settings. During the session, she will help attendees learn how to harness the power of their assessments, which they will be able to complete online prior to the event. Though individual results for the assessments are immediate and private, examples will be reviewed and discussed during the session.
The Women Empowered and Enlightened event features a series of educational sessions on Saturday the 13th led by six inspirational female professionals. Registration is currently underway, but seating is limited. Those wishing to attend and receive a free DISC assessment must fill out the registration form located at http://bit.ly/driJSg and mail it, along with applicable fees, to Tonya Holbert, BPW/NC Treasurer at 35 Shadow Valley Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28739 by Tuesday, November 9th.
The Women Empowered and Enlightened event is more than just the Saturday education sessions. The night of Friday the 12th will kick off the weekend-long event with a wine tasting and tour at the Chatham Hill Winery, North Carolina's first urban winery. Afterward, the BPW/Raleigh Club will host an after party at the Marriott RTP. On Sunday the 14th, guests are invited to attend a Meredith College production of April de Angelis's "Playhouse Creatures," a riotous historical drama about women on the stage in Restoration England.
Registration for the networking event and play is optional. Guests can register for one, two, or all three days of the weekend.
