Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas Partners with US Aviation: All American Helicopter for Unique Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser
Hundreds of golf balls to hit green at 6th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament April 26, 2012.
- (1888PressRelease) March 27, 2012 - Lake Dallas, Texas - The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas announced today that US Aviation: All American Helicopter is providing the helicopter services for the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas Golf Ball Drop to be held April 26, 2012 at their 6th Annual Benefit Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Lantana Golf Club, Lantana, Texas conditions permitting.
"What a great way to kick off our Benefit Golf Tournament", said Babs Troutman, President and Chief Professional Officer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas. "It should be a lot of fun to see hundreds of golf balls dropping down from a helicopter. This is the first time we've had a golf ball drop and we are thrilled that US Aviation: All American Helicopter stepped up to provide their helicopter and pilot for such a wonderful cause", stated Troutman.
According to Troutman, one lucky winner who bought a golf ball raffle ticket will receive a free 50" High Definition Television provided by Pick 6 Sports Grill located in Frisco, Texas if their golf ball drops in the hole. The goal of the organization is to sell a minimum of 1,000 raffle tickets at $10.00 each. Golf Ball Raffle Tickets can be purchased by visiting their website at www.BGCNCT.org. All proceeds from the raffle will be used to help provide programs and services to more at risk youth at the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas located in Denton County, Texas.
