Bowman's Hill Announces 2nd Annual Flower to Tower 5k Run/Walk

Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) August 23, 2013 - Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, of New Hope, Pa, will be holding their second annual Flower To Tower 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, October 13, 2013. The one-of-a-kind event benefits conversation and education programs at the preserve.

Running enthusiasts, joggers and casual walkers can all enjoy the picturesque trails and the challenge of climbing Bowman's Hill during the event. Afterwards participants and their supporters are invited to stay for post-race festivities including awards, music, refreshments and family fun. The race course (5k, 3.1 miles) winds through the scenic Bucks County preserve and continues up to Bowman's Tower. The 5k run is $25 per adult and begins at 9:00 am. The one mile fun walk is $20 per adult and begins at 8:30 am. Children under 14 may register for either event for $15. Registration on the day of the event runs from 7:30 am until 8:30 am and is $30 per adult and $15 for children under 14.
