Bottlerocket Publishes A Cool Infographic And Guide For College Students
Bottlerocket recently published "A College Student's Guide To Finding Mentors" along with an infographic explaining the process with funny illustrations.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) February 11, 2014 - Bottlerocket's founders Linda Yi and Jude deTar, two recent college graduates, published a guide for other college students on how they can find and work with mentors. An infographic explaining the process from a college student's perspective is included with the guide at bottlerocket.my/2014/02/10/college-students-guide-find-mentors/.
The guide, titled "A College Student's Guide To Finding Mentors", walks college students step-by-step through the process to finding and getting mentors to help them achieve their goals. The guide also includes short tips from Linda and Jude based upon their experiences and feedback provided by college students using the Bottlerocket platform.
According to Jude, "mentors and advisors are one of the best sources of help college students can have, but we rarely make use of them or develop a good mentor network. One of the biggest things every college student stresses about is what they are going to do after graduation. Having mentors can move you quickly from not having any idea of what you're going to do, to having a good plan, making progress, and landing a great job or accomplishing other goals."
Bottlerocket hopes that the guide and the funny infographic will help college students realize the benefit of mentors and feel less intimidated in reaching out to potential mentors. By using the guide, college students should be able to improve their approach, plan, and work with mentors more effectively.
