Our factory has worked to develop a material that utilises recycled plastic bottles to manufacture School hats. These hats are made using R-PET and cotton to produce a material that looks, breathes and feels like 100% cotton, however it has superior performance characteristics. An additional benefit is that one sun hat contains the recycled plastic material from 2 x 1.25litre bottles!

The fabric is 100% safe to the wear and has been tested for quality, safety, and band substance compliance. Authentic Enviro-Caps are

The material has also received a certificate from the Enviromental & Development Foundation stating that the process has been derived from 100% Recycled PET Bottles in strict accordance with the Enviromental & Development Foundation Guidelines Certification 06-01 www.edf.org.tw

Bottlegreen Mission/Goal:

Our company's goal is to have all Australian school children wearing Enviro Cap headwear within 3 years. If we achieve this goal, together we will have reduced global waste, and cut emissions by utilising the waste plastic from 15 Million (500ml) water bottles.

How Will We Achieve This Mission:
This week we are mailing out to schools nationwide a pamphlet detailing the Enviro-Caps and how and where to purchase them. These pamphlets explain the environmental benefits of choosing the Enviro-cap over the standard school hat that most schools seem to opt for. Aside from the environmental benefits of the Enviro-Cap, it is also a higher quality, longer lasting school hat than what most schools are currently stocking. We are hoping to influence schools to take the more environmentally friendly product and encouraging families to be aware that these products are out there and they too can play an active role in helping the environment. Schools are educators of the people of the future. If the Enviro-Cap is one small way to help educate children on making a choice that is a more environmentally friendly choice, then it is a great start. After the school market we will focus on other main stream retail, corporate and Promotion avenues that would also be a great match for these products.
