- (1888PressRelease) March 03, 2016 - The Book 'Start up Your Restaurant' authored by Mr. Jayanth Narayanan and Ms. Priya Bala was launched at the AIMS-Institute of Higher Education, Peenya, Bangalore on the 29th of February 2016 in the presence of students who aspire to be entrepreneurs, faculty members and special invitees. The book addresses various stages of setting up a restaurant; namely the concept, funding, financials, location, licence, technology and operation. The book also has success mantras from restaurateurs who experienced success and failure as well.
Mr. Srijan Vadhera, Resident Manager, Shangrila, Bangalore was the Chief Guest and Prof. Ranganathan, Professional Business Coach, CEO of 10minutebiztools and Consultant- AIMS Entrepreneurship Excellence Centre (AEEC) was the guest of Honour of this event. Dr. Kerron Reddy, Principal and CEO AIMS Institutes in her welcome address said that she was very happy that the authors approached AIMS to launch this book in association with Harper Collins Publishers India and Collins Business. Further, she added that this book launch would inspire a number of students to seriously think about ventures in hotel industry.
The Chief Guest Mr. Srijan Vadhera spoke about the transition in the hospitality business and encouraged the youngsters to "begin with small and grow-up". The authors Mr. Jayanth Narayanan and Ms. Priya Bala shared their thought-provoking experiences of writing this book. It was followed by a stimulating interactive session between the authors and the members of AIMS-IHE. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Achinthya Dey, Director, Department of Hotel Management, AIMS-IHE.
