Book Launch Party - An Amazing "Sunset" Success
This is a recap of the "Time for the Talk" book launch party.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2012 - High above the city of Atlanta in Buckhead on the 22nd floor of the Park Place building, a private reception was held for the release of Clarice Dowdle's new book Time for the Talk. Approximately 100 guests arrived just before sunset to celebrate Dowdle's first book release.
Close friends, and business associates of Dowdle gathered in praise of her new accomplishment. The party was filled with gratitude from many who believe that this book is greatly needed as baby boomers are now facing enormous challenges when carrying for their parents and loved ones.
The book is honest, and forthcoming in explaining Dowdle's own personal experiences in caregiving as well gives the reader valuable tips and information. It's not just about facts and figures but real issues, and day to day concerns from the first onset of a parent's illness to the final transition. One gentleman commented, "I read an advance copy, the last 3 chapters had me welling up pretty much, holding back the tears. Wasn't quite what I expected but should have.
