Book Expo America, rightly called as "the granddaddy of all book fairs" has earned its name as the largest gathering of publishers and booksellers, who talk up titles, showcase high-profile authors and try to build intangible hum for promising books. It also provides a majestic platform for learning and sharing of the up-to-the-minute digital drifts and technology in the world of publishing.
This year, SunTec will be at booth FC 2143 holding discussions on new business openings pertaining to eBook Publishing, and Conversions and also new Apps Development services. The array of high-profile authors for the expo is expected to be profound with the presence of Dan Brown with his latest thriller "Inferno", Chelsea Handler, there to promote "Uganda Be Kidding Me," a travelogue; Helen Fielding, with her third Bridget Jones novel, "Mad About the Boy,"; and Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of "Eat, Pray, Love," who has written a new novel, "The Signature of All Things," her first in 13 years. The participating publishing houses will include the big-shots like HarperCollins, Penguin, Macmillan etc. and also comparatively not so big ones like Omnific Publishing, Shadow Mountain etc.
Altogether, the Book Expo America 2013 is by and large a good platform to break new grounds in the evolving technology in book publishing. With this in mind, SunTech India is all set to demonstrate its flair in e-publishing for the second time in a row.
