Bolivia Volunteers announces new accommodation for volunteers
Bolivia Volunteers, provider of low cost volunteer placements in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, Bolivia announces an increase in volunteers, and adds new family homestay locations.
- (1888PressRelease) March 07, 2013 - BOLIVIA VOLUNTEERS, the leading independent provider of low cost volunteer placements in Bolivia, recently announced that due to the growing numbers of volunteers that they receive each month in the cities of Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, Bolivia, they have increased the number of volunteer homestay locations.
Claudia Andrea, director of Bolivia Volunteers, had this to say.
We never put our volunteers in hostel rooms or in bed & breakfast accommodation. They have a private room with free access to bathroom, kitchen and social areas in a family home that is in a safe neighborhood close to their project and local amenities such as shops, banks, medical facilities, nightlife, etc.
Most homes have telephone, television, cable, internet, a fully equiped kitchen and laundry facilities, and volunteers are provided with breakfast, lunch and an evening meal.
And of course our hosts have been welcoming volunteers into their homes for many years, and they are all carefully selected and reviewed. Another thing to mention is that our volunteers donīt just help their project - but they also help their host family, because we arrange accommodation with families who have had to cope with many different forms of difficulty and upheaval.
We receive many requests from families asking if they can look after our volunteers, but only a few are accepted.
